About Me

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I moved to Israel in 1998 after completing my Diploma in Bible and Church Mission from Belfast Bible College in Northern Ireland.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Israel College of the Bible and Master of Arts in Archaeology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of the Holy Land in 2000 and 2015, respectively.

 Verified Outstanding Teacher We had the privilege of having Aviel teach in our church!  How Blessed my family is that Aviel has become like family to us.  He has been to America twice and stayed in our home. When he was our guide in the Land of Messiah he made Israel come alive in our hearts!  We established a relationship with him and knew our visit wasn’t enough.  So, we invited him to our church in the US to bring the Land of Messiah to our whole church.  It was an experience we will never forget and neither will our church! While in Israel, he went above what he was supposed to.  He gave up his lunch time to take some of our group to buy pottery because time wasn’t allotted in our schedule.  He gave up a night of sleep to take one of our group members to the hospital. We will never forget our Superguide and when we go back to the Land of the Messiah we will always request Aviel, the Superguide!!

 Verified Best Guide in Israel Marcus lifted the Lord at every opportunity. His love for our Savior is infectious. We had a very robust tour that included many stops of biblical importance. Marcus has an incredible level of knowledge that enabled him to answer every question with patience, clarity, and passion. Amazing trip. We had a good size group from various areas of the world. The group jelled and had an incredible time; most of that goodness is due to Marcus making each of us comfortable, secure, and excited throughout. You may notice a bad review below; that review should be on me. As our church group leader I lost one of our members towards the end of our trip, I have no excuse. We did a very good job with accountability at every stop, before we left we would always take note of everyone accounted for. Marcus should not be held responsible for my failure as a leader. Within 10 minutes we realized we were missing one of our group. Marcus then proceeded to search for our lost member. The good news was we were near our hotel, and our lost member immediately went back to hotel, and was accounted for shortly after. My family and myself will be returning to Israel again in the near future. We are 100% committed to requesting only one guide, Marcus/Ariel

 Verified Ariel comes looking for you! On my third trip to Israel Aviel was our tour guide and always went above and beyond to take us to the greatest spots, to make sure other tour guides and even sales people don’t disrespect us and when one of our tour members was left behind, he skipped lunch with the group to go back and search for him. He has great knowledge about Israel but cares so much about our and his own relationship with Jesus that it pours into his effort and touring, God bless you, Aviel! We enjoyed our time!
